We believe preparation for independence begins from day one. Young people are supported to develop practical life skills — cooking, budgeting, cleaning, personal care, shopping, and using public transport — through key work sessions, daily routines, and ‘Enjoy and Achieve’ activities. When a young person approaches the end of their placement, a personalised six-week transition plan is developed with them, their Key Worker, and the placing authority, ensuring the move is as stable and positive as possible.
Wherever possible, we prioritise planned admissions with thorough matching and preparation.
