For young people who require enhanced safety and intensive support, Acacia House provides 2:1 staffing — meaning two staff members are dedicated to supporting one young person at all times. This level of support is available for those who have experienced significant trauma, display high-risk behaviours, or are working through mental health crises. Staffing levels are continuously reviewed based on individual risk assessments to ensure every young person gets the right level of care.
Wherever possible, we prioritise planned admissions with thorough matching and preparation.
Considered only when safe, with a full risk assessment completed within 72 hours.
